About Cheffin & Shakin

We at Cheffin & Shakin have always had a love for food & drinks,
being inspired by each of our families and the flavours we grew up loving! In turn, both of us pursued this love at the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, PEI. After graduating and working at various places across Canada, we both moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, taking with us all that we have learned!

It was here on the Atlantic coast, working together and honing our craft, that we bonded over a shared interest in cooking different cuisines and learning about diverse cultures. We then began a project of creating dishes from every country in the world!

From that, Cheffin&Shakin was born as we imagined a place where we could share not only the cuisine from 195 countries, but also our creations of delicious and comforting food that anyone can make!
