Pomegranate Rum Punch
This refreshing punch combines the warmth of cinnamon with the tartness of pomegranate and citrus, perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients:
1 cup dark rum710 ml pomegranate juice1 lemon, juiced1 orange, juiced2 oz cinnamon syrup (see recipe below)Pomegranate seeds (for garnish)Orange slices (for garnish)
Cinnamon Syrup:
½ cup sugar½ cup water5-6 pieces of cinnamon
Directions:
Make the Cinnamon Syrup:
In a small pot, combine sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks.Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the sugar has fully dissolved.Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool.Prepare the Punch:
In a large pitcher, combine dark rum, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, orange juice, and cinnamon syrup. Stir well to mix.Serve:
Fill tall glasses with ice, then pour the punch mixture over the ice.Garnish with pomegranate seeds and orange slices.Stir with a straw and enjoy!
